The key to the success of Aztec Plumbing is based on such solid principles as their focus on business, prompt customer attention and response, strong commitment and research and development in wax formulations.

Aztec Plumbing offers Wax Rings made with formulas that include petroleum paraffin’s and additives that endow them with excellent structural and sealing properties, which hold up under different climatic conditions.

Our products are performance tested and certified under the American Federal Standard A-A-3110 that indicates compliance of wax formulations known as Gasket, referring to evidence of behavior under different conditions that determine the consistency and performance of wax rings, including aspects such as permeability and stability in the storage of wax rings.  Compliance with this standard confers on our wax rings the guarantee and assurance of excellent performance in use in both very hot and very cold climate conditions, where our products maintain their structural consistency thanks to their design formulation.

A practical example of this is shown in the exportation of wax rings by land to California, USA, where shipments cross the Arizona desert in summer with temperatures of 113 to 122°F (45 to 50°C) and arrive at their final destination without any deformation. On the other hand, wax rings exported to Northern United States and Canada are used under extreme temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and maintain their consistency for adequate compression during toilet installations, achieving a perfect seal.

Research & Development

Aztec Plumbing has a Research and Development Laboratory that constantly tests and analyzes the paraffin's used in the formulation of the Gasket, the raw material for manufacturing wax rings.

Qualitative paraffin analysis, the development of formulations and analysis of finished products are part of a continuous process to insure that our wax rings comply with the quality and performance specifications for which they have been designed.

Additionally, in order to validate the high performance in the installation of toilets with wax rings produced by Aztec Plumbing, a testing bench was installed.  Its purpose is to determine the useful life of wax rings by simulating discharge cycles, which are accumulated and, based on a certain number of discharges per day the useful life is then calculated.

The bench tests include physical inspection of the installation to verify that the ring maintains its structural consistency and doesn’t present signs of deterioration, leakage or permeability toward the toilet interior.

The test results indicate and confirm that our products effectively are of high quality that is evidenced by the efficient seal between the toilet mixture base and the discharge pipe in the bathroom floor.

Aztec Plumbing has a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement of its products and services.

A fundamental part of this continuous improvement has been the maintaining of a permanent measure of all critical variables, one of the most important being the Level of Customer Satisfaction.

Aztec Plumbing conducts an annual survey to measure customer satisfaction, in which 9 concepts related to Products, Value, Service and Communication are evaluated.  A numeric scale from 0 to 10 is used for this evaluation; in which higher score results indicate better results.

The survey results have been positive, providing Aztec Plumbing with the motivation to continue improving the quality of its products and services.
